Our story
Built by an enthusiast, for enthusiasts
Creative Customs AutoSport is an owner-operated shop on California Street in Vallejo. Josh, the owner, has spent decades in the automotive industry and is a car enthusiast himself, which is why the cars that leave here look like they were meant to be that way from the factory.
We do custom paint and body work, air suspension installs, aftermarket parts fitment, restorations, and full show car builds. Our clients' cars have come home from car shows with trophies and awards, and that standard is the one we hold every job to.
We also believe you shouldn't have to wonder what's happening to your car. Clients get regular progress updates with photos and videos, a walkthrough of anything new we've installed, and an honest answer about what will and won't work before we start.
- Owner-operated: Josh works on the cars himself
- Air Lift Performance suspension installs
- Custom setups, including bags that keep your trunk usable
- Photo and video progress updates throughout the build
What customers say
“Creative Customs is EXCELLENT! Worked on my car and it came out perfect! Josh, the owner, understands customer care and he gave me regular updates on the progress with pics and videos. He also has decades of experience in the automotive industry and is a fellow car enthusiast! This is the best body shop experience I've ever had!”
“Normally there's a standard setup for people who want air suspension, but I had requested that he set me up with bags but to maintain the usability of my trunk. He fulfilled that request and made sure everything was working properly and safely before returning my car back to me! And the trunk setup looks amazing while still meeting my request!”
“Creative Customs, led by owner Josh, exceeded my expectations with their outstanding work on my Toyota GR86. The job was paint and install of a high-end 4 piece JDM lip kit from Aimgain, which was executed with impeccable craftsmanship, showcasing Josh's attention to detail and expertise.”
